Description

This funny and heartwarming tale about friends, family and Ferris wheels, shows lots of different families who are all equal

A book for every family, this story gently shows children that it's wonderfully normal for every family to be different and the things that set us apart can bring us closer.

Liam has just one thing on his mind: making it to the Ferris wheel to use his ticket. There's just time to check out the rest of the funfair, where his friends are playing games, munching popcorn, and going on rides with their families. But when Liam's Ferris wheel ticket goes missing, it's a race against time for him and his friends to find it. Will they make it?

Featuring bold, colourful illustrations and an inspiring message, toddlers and young children will love reading along and engaging in this story that celebrates all different types of families.

About the Author

Richard and Lewis are a married couple living in London with their two kids, aged six and three. They became a family through adoption, making them a two Dad family, which they have shared on their Two Dads in London blog (https://twodadsinlondon.com/) and Instagram. Seeing how much their children enjoy and learn through story time inspired them to write a fun, imaginative picture book with an important message behind it: that every family is different and that is perfectly okay.

Andy Passchier is an illustrator from The Netherlands, currently living in the USA. In their work, they try to focus on inclusivity, positivity and LGBTQIA+ advocacy. They have previously illustrated several children's books focusing on identity and the LGBTQIA+ community, including Rainbow: A First Book of Pride by Michael Genhart, Trans+: Love, Sex, Romance, and Being You by Karen Rayne, PhD, and Katherine Gonzales, MBA, What Are Your Words? by Katherine Locke, and Being You by Megan Madison and Jessica Ralli.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
