Description
Meet Murphy ... the unluckiest dog in Ireland!
Whatever could go wrong, would always go wrong,
when I was around.
Wherever I set a paw,
bad luck was always sure to follow.
We called it, 'Murphy's law'!
A picture book for young readers about an accident-prone dog whose tail is always getting him in trouble.
About the Author
Muireann is a children's author and performer. Although a Cork City native, she spent much of her childhood in the Corca Dhuibhne Gaeltacht in Kerry where her father's family are from and is a proud Irish speaker. When she's not writing books, dancing about on your TV screen or cooking up new shows or ideas, you'll find her in the sea, doodling in her sketchbook or most likely running around after her young and very energetic sons on the beaches of Tramore, Co. Waterford. She hopes that this book will be the perfect excuse to fulfil a lifelong dream of getting a puppy and calling him Murphy!

-- Evening Echoa delightful little story about a pup called Murphy who is down on his luck. As an ode to the adage 'anything that can go wrong will go wrong', wherever Murphy and his owner Mary go, bad luck seems to follow. But they are determined to get to the root of ail the chaos that ensues around them because Murphy isn't a bad pup, just one with bad luck. Paul Nugent's illustrations are full of expressive characters and amusing scenarios with little Easter eggs scattered throughout the pages of typical Irish pantry fillers, because what beach picnic would be complete without a bag of 'Tayters'. An adorable storybook about the bond between animal and owner with a lovely sentiment of how to turn a negative into a positive and see the glass as half full. And if one thing is for certain it's that "puppy hugs always make humans happy". How true a statement. Recommended for ages three to six years
