Currently Director of Patient Safety and Clinical Quality (Chief Nurse) for NHS Suffolk. Dr. Lynne Wigens is the author of first edition of this book and series editor for the Foundations in Nursing and Healthcare series and the Expanding Nursing and Health Care Practice series, and co-author of An Introduction to Research another title in the Foundations series. Lynne has written extensively in this field, and in addition to being a Visiting Senior Fellow in Nursing at University Campus Suffolk, is also a reviewer for the Nursing and Midwifery Council so fully up to date with all the recent changes.
