About the Author
Craig Cessford is an archaeologist who has worked in both commercial and academic archaeology for over twenty-five years. He has a particular interest in medieval and later urban archaeology and has been based in Cambridge since 1997, directing numerous excavations and publishing widely. Alison Dickens is an archaeologist who has worked in British commercial archaeology for over thirty years. She has a particular interest in post-Roman, medieval, urban and post-medieval archaeology and has been based in Cambridge since 1991, directing and managing numerous excavations and large projects, including Grand Arcade.
