About the Author

One of Australia's most successful chef/restaurateurs, Andrew McConnell brings attention to detail, trend-setting style and good taste to everything he does. His groundbreaking restaurant group Trader House operates acclaimed fine diners such as Cutler and Co and Gimlet, wine bar Marion, all-day icon Cumulus Inc., classic pub Builders Arms Hotel, and gourmet grocer Meatsmith. He is previously the author of Cumulus Inc (Penguin) and Supernormal (republished in 2023 by Hardie Grant).

Falling into a career as a butcher in a small Australian country town, Troy Wheeler moved to Melbourne and climbed the ranks to become one of the city's best butchers. In 2015, he launched Meatsmith with Andrew McConnell, creating one of Australia's best bespoke butcher and grocery stores focusing on quality heritage meats, sauces, charcuterie and meals. There are now four Meatsmith stores in Melbourne: the original Fitzroy flagship, plus St Kilda, Balwyn and Brighton.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
