About the AuthorPaul Glendinning is Professor of Applied Mathematics at the University of Manchester. He was a student and a lecturer at Cambridge before moving to a chair at Queen Mary, University of London and then Manchester (UMIST). He was founding Head of School for Mathematics at the combined University of Manchester and has published over fifty academic articles and an undergraduate textbook on chaos theory.
