Description

Mango and Bambang's adventures continue in the third book of this charming illustrated series about a little girl and a tapir.

Mango and Bambang's adventures continue in the third book of this charming illustrated series about a little girl and a tapir, described by The Sunday Times as having "real charm ... reminiscent of Paddington." When a small but mischievous tapir guest comes to stay with Mango Allsorts and Bambang in the busy city, things soon get into a rather troublesome tangle. Tiny Tapir Trouble is Book Three in this delightful series for younger readers.

Reviews
One of my very favourites, the delicious Mango and Bambang return in a third collection of stories, along with a rather mischievous mini tapir. * The Bookseller *
As soon as we received this book, I knew I was going to love it. [...] Perfect for younger readers and book-loving parents, it is perfect bed-time reading [...] We will enjoy reading the stories over and over. * Stressymummy.com *
Polly Faber and Clara Vulliamy's Mango and Bambang stories are perfect for newly independent readers. There are four funny, entertaining stories in each collection, short enough to be read easily in one go and full of lively two colour illustrations. Tapir Bambang is a character that children will understand and immediately love: well-meaning if frequently baffled by the human world around him, he tries his best to do the right thing. Meanwhile, his best friend Mango is always there to love and take care of him because, as the stories in this volume explain, they're real family now. Warm, reassuring, with a true innocence and charm, these are very special little stories indeed * Andrea Reece, Lovereading4kids.co.uk *
Published in a beautiful, high quality hardback with bright stripes, coloured edge pages, the Mango and Bambang books are the ideal gift package for youngsters who are becoming confident at reading alone. Faber's words and Vulliamy's illustrations are an addictive combination, offering stories with a classic feel but packed with recognisable themes and setting. Gently humorous, lively and easy to read, Mango and Bambang's adventures and misadventures are picture perfect stories for a new generation of young readers. * Lancashire Evening Post *
The third collection of short stories featuring feisty heroine Mango and her delightfully portly tapir sidekick. * Little London *
[...] charming, funny, beautifully illustrated and has more wisdom about family than most adult fiction. Should rightfully win lots of prizes. * Huffington Post UK *
"These warm, charming stories about friendship, fitting in, bravery and truth are complemented by bright, funny illustrations with a vintage feel, reminiscent of the classic Babar books." * BookTrust *
"[...] utterly charming [...]" * The Bookseller *

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
