Reviews
'[Levin's] synoptic vision of the two great Semitic traditions, the Jewish and the Arab, running concurrently, is also a political act of the subtlest and most humane kind... 'Ostraca' is one of the finest collections I have read in years.' - Stephen Romer, TLS"Ostraca' rakes through archaeological sites of the Mediterranean, and is astounding. Constantine Cavafy might have been proud of some of these poems' - Tom Payne, Daily Telegraph
