Making Connections is a hands-on aid to learning the grand story of the Bible. It can be used as a standalone resource, but is best suited to be used alongside the textbook by the authors Telling God's Story (Broadman & Holman) in addition to the Bible. It is designed to be used in the local church for Bible studies, pastor-led studies, and Sunday school.

About the Author
Terry G. Carter is Associate Dean, Pruet School of Christian Studies; W. O. Vaught Professor of Christian History and Ministry; and chair of the departments of Christian Ministry and Christian Missions, Ouachita Baptist University. He has served as campus minister at two universities in Texas and as pastor or interim pastor in churches in Texas, Germany, Belgium, and Arkansas. His publications include The Journal and Selected Letters of William Carey, (Smyth & Helwys Publishers, 2000), Preaching God's Word: A Hands-On Approach to Preparing, Developing, and Delivering the Sermon, coauthored with J. Scott Duvall and Danny Hays (Zondervan, 2005), Telling God's Story:The Biblical Narrative from Beginning to End, 2nd ed., coauthored with Preben Vang (Broadman & Holman, 2013) and numerous articles journals and books.
