About the Author
Christopher Owen's stories have been published in magazines and anthologies in the UK, USA, and Ireland. In Looking for Joan one story was highly commended for the Costa Short Story Prize 2021 and another was in the top 50 of the BBC National Short Story Award 2021. His story, An Honourable Life, won 1st prize for the Final Chapters Competition and has been short-listed for the Bridport Story Prize 2019. He has worked in theatre, television and film for over 50 years. Looking for Joan and Other Stories is Christopher's second published book with Troubador publishing.
