She has presented nationally as well as locally on the topic of improving adolescent literacy. Most recently, Dr. Craig returned to the classroom to continue her research on practical ways to incorporate literacy within the English curriculum. She is passionate about the role of adolescent literacy in preparing students to become participating members of a democratic society and the role that teachers play to prepare students to achieve that goal.
