All of the sections on learning to knit have clear colour artwork and diagrams on the stitches and knitting process, teamed with colour photography of real-life examples of knitted items, ideal for the beginner. The book also comes with an outstanding gallery of 20 simple projects to make (easy, intermediate and advanced) - with garments for all the family, accessories and home furnishings, using gorgeous yarns from Patons: Patons Diploma Gold 4 ply; Patons Diploma Gold DK; Patons Diploma Gold Aran; and, Patons 100 per cent Cotton 4 ply. The delightful projects include: A Pot Holder worked in three colours, which forms a pocket to insert your hand; a rectangular Cushion Cover in elegant black, white and grey that looks fantastic in both traditional and contemporary settings; plus clothing such as the classic Child's Raglan Sweaters which is knitted in machine-washable, double-knitting weight wool - to the cool cotton Unisex V-neck Sweater that looks great on both the sexes. Each project has detailed instructions, a requirements list and tension guide, together with a gorgeous colour photograph of the finished project.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
