About the Author

Antonio Vignali (1500-1559), also known as Arsiccio Intronato, was a writer from Sienna who died in political exile.Ian Frederick Moulton is Associate Professor of English at Arizona State University. He is author of Before Pornography: Erotic Writing in Early ModernEngland.
