Description
Wild and newly single, Julie throws a late night party. In the kitchen, Jean and Kristina clean up as the celebration heaves above them. Crossing the threshold, Julie initiates a power game with Jean. It descends into a savage fight for survival.

Polly Stenham's plays include That Face (Royal Court and the Duke of York's), for which she was awarded the 2008 Critics' Circle Award for Most Promising Playwright, the Evening Standard Award for Most Promising Playwright 2007 and TMA Best New Play 2007. Also at the Royal Court: Tusk Tusk and No Quarter. Hotel premiered at the National Theatre, London, in 2014. August Strindberg (1849-1912) was a Swedish dramatist, novelist, poet and essayist. His plays include The Father (1887), Miss Julie (1888), Creditors (1889), The Stronger (1890), Easter (1900), The Dance of Death (1900), A Dream Play (1902) and The Ghost Sonata (1907).
