About the Author
Eleanor Updale is the author of the popular Mortmorency series. She has won several awards including the Blue Peter Award for 'Book I Couldn't Put Down', and has been shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal and the Nestle Children's Book Prize. Eleanor is a trustee of various children's charities and holds a PhD in History. She splits her time between London and Edinburgh.

Sarah Horne grew up in Derbyshire and spent her childhood scampering in fields and playing with goats. She studied illustration at Falmouth College of Arts and now lives in London, where she enjoys creating funky, inky illustrations for children's books.
