About the Author

Brian Floca is an award-winning author and illustrator of many acclaimed picture books. Locomotive won the Caldecott Medal 2014, and his books have additionally received four Robert F. Sibert Honor awards for distinguished informational books, an Orbis Pictus Award and Orbis Pictus Honor, a silver medal from the Society of Illustrators, and have been selected three times for the annual New York Times Best Illustrated Books list. Sydney Smith is the winner of the 2024 Hans Christian Andersen Award, the highest possible international honour. He has illustrated multiple children's books, including Small in the City and Town Is by the Sea, which both won the Kate Greenaway Medal, the Kate Greenaway-shortlisted I Talk Like a River, My Baba's Garden, The White Cat and the Monk, and the acclaimed Footpath Flowers, which was a New York Times Children's Book of the Year and a winner of the Governor General Award for Illustration. The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.

Found a hard to get book…
