Description

As read by Harry Styles on CBeebies Bedtime Story.

In every house, on every street . . . there is laughter
and tears. There are friends. There is family. And there is love.

A heartwarming celebration of homes . . .

and all the families that make them.

About the Author
Jess Hitchman started her career as an online agony aunt on a dot-com boom website for teenage girls. Since then, she has worked for youth and entertainment brands including Cbeebies, CBBC, Radio 1, XFM, MTV and Nickelodeon. Lili la Baleine is a former school teacher who began self-taught illustration in 2009. Soon, she was spotted by the publishing industry and decided to fully dedicate herself to children's book illustration. She lives in France with her family, with whom she shares a passion for chocolate and travels.

Reviews
"Full of warmth, this is a lovely demonstration of what makes a house a home..." -- Red Reading Hub
"...perfect for children learning about the world around them. A lovely book that could be read to any class around the world to stem conversations about homes, family and traditions in cultures!" -- My Shelves Are Full
"...this rhyming, chiming story... celebrates the diverse landscape of home life and families..." -- Lancashire Evening Post
"The end foldout section is wonderfully diverse in both living styles and people with a range of family make up both explicit and implied (inc nuclear, blended, older caregivers and suggestions of LGBTQ+ families), body positivity, disabled representation and ethnicities- it's great to celebrate the way we all make a home." -- Lily and the Fae
"The richly worded rhyme and the warm illustrations show us love, laughter and tears... Ultimately you see that although families and houses all look different, the love in their homes is the same." -- Ivy's Library

Great experience and I have zero concerns. They communicated through the shipping process and if there was any hiccups in it, they let me know. Books arrived in perfect condition as well as being fairly priced. 10/10 recommend. I will definitely shop here again!

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
