Description

Pioneer missionary Costas Macris was a man who believed God for great things. Born in Greece, he moved his family to the jungles of Irian Jaya, Indonesia, where he confronted cannibalistic head-hunters, opened new mission stations, and introduced the gospel to stone-age tribes. He later returned to Greece, where he founded a bold evangelistic work where the Apostle Paul had preached some 2,000 years before. As a young man, Costas read William Carey's famous challenge: "Attempt great things for God; expect great things from God." Costas took these words to heart, and over a lifetime of ministry God responded in amazing ways. This inspiring account of Costas' life will challenge you to trust God at a deeper level. You'll be encouraged by what God did through an ordinary man who abandoned himself, without reservation, to an extraordinary God.

PLATFORM: *We plan to distribute articles and/or book reviews by means of our close relationship with Assist News Service, a distributor of religious news and content to over 2,600 media outlets around the world. *We hope to include an excerpt or book chapter in South Africa's Joy Magazine, which has a circulation of 30,000 English readers and 35,000 Afrikaans. *HM staff have recently been featured on Christian radio stations in South Africa, UK and Australia. We will approach these stations for author interviews upon the book's release. We will also approach Moody Radio, as both the author and HM director are Moody graduates. *Speaking engagements by HM personnel have already been scheduled for this fall in churches throughout Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Germany. The book will be highlighted during each meeting., several of which involve key international mission leaders. *HM hopes to sponsor a conference in Australia, in order to honor Costas Macris and his broad influence in that nations' Greek evangelical community, with the book promoted. *Heavy promotion on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, with promotion by means of a professionally-produced video. *HM will seek endorsements from well-known evangelicals, including Eric Metaxas (writing the foreword), Ted Dekker, George Verwer, Don Richardson and others who knew and loved Costas. Also, HM has a close relationship with several large missionary organizations, including TEAM, Pioneers, Operation Mobilization, YWAM and AMG International, which may be interested in helping to distribute this biography.

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
