About the Author
John Rutter studied music at Clare College, Cambridge and first came to notice as a composer and arranger of Christmas carols and other choral pieces during those early years; today his compositions, including such concert-length works as Requiem, Magnificat, Mass of the Children, The Gift of Life, and Visions are performed around the world. John edits the Oxford Choral Classics series, and, with Sir David Willcocks, co-edited four volumes of Carols for Choirs. In 1983 he formed his own choir The Cambridge Singers, with whom he has made numerous recordings on the Collegium Records label, and he appears regularly in several countries as a guest conductor and choral ambassador. John holds a Lambeth Doctorate in Music, and was awarded a CBE for services to music in 2007.

Reviews
John Rutter . . . always produces very beautiful works. This is no exception. From beginning to end it floats serenely on a gentle accompaniment. All intervals are singable. The organist can set the instrument up easily for the whole work with very few additions. No choir should be without this lovely work. * The Organ *
Here is a jolly piece, based on I Corinthians 14 v.15, which consistently remains restrained and never becomes extrovert, uses highly understandable harmony and modulations, does not try to be intellectually far-fetched (its cleverness is in its comparative simplicity) and has a straightforward organ part with lots of simple rhythmic interest largely centred on a syncopated motif. A particularly magic touch is the very soft ending on the word 'Alleluia'. This is a wonderful anthem in all respects, and I strongly recommend it to all choirs looking for something new without being difficult - it is also available in a two-part version. * Organists' Review *

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
