Description

Through the porosity of the US/Mexico border, Freudian slippages, and toxic relationships, poet Juana Adcock interrogates what it means to cross from one country into another - the gradient spaces that inhabit the nexus between life and death, and the people and languages that sit either side of it.

Ghostly glitches, the role of rivers, and the character of Lisa Simpson as voiced for the Latin American market all empower I Sugar the Bones to stand as a polyvocal display; one where revelatory restlessness is underpinned by predicaments and realities which work to complicate the vistas of the interpersonal.

Juana Adcock is a Poetry Book Society Choice and was included in The Guardian's Best Poetry of 2019.

Will definitely use again!

Great experience and I have zero concerns. They communicated through the shipping process and if there was any hiccups in it, they let me know. Books arrived in perfect condition as well as being fairly priced. 10/10 recommend. I will definitely shop here again!

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
