About the Author
Hannah New (Author)
Born in south London, Hannah New is an actress, producer and writer, who started her performing career with the National Youth Theatre in the UK. She went on to do a Spanish and English Literature degree and then began working on film and TV projects in Spain. Her work can be seen in the television series Black Sails, the Netflix series Bridgerton and the film Flavia de Luce based on the series of novels for young adult readers. She is passionate about film making and storytelling, especially hearing the stories that young people have to tell through film. She is a keen surfer and rock climber and lives on a farm in the West of Ireland with her partner and child. When she's not filming, she grows veg and tends to her cows and chickens. How to Be an Actor is her first book.

Sol is a children's book illustrator and graphic designer from Buenos Aires. Her illustrations are filled with details and beautiful colors focused on children's products like books, puzzles, board books and memory games. Sol has worked for Airbnb, Pottery Barn Kids, Unicef and international magazines such as Oprah, Jamie Oliver, Wired and The Washington Post.
