Katie wrote five romantic fiction novels before turning to crime. Her debut, 'My Everything' was a World Book night pick, and her books are published across ten countries. She lives in the English countryside with her family and loves coffee, puzzles and pretending she is in charge of her children. Her move into crime was inspired by her own bumpy arrival into midlife, complete with insomnia so severe that she once forgot her own name.
