As a secret service agent, Nick Averose spent a decade guarding the most powerful people in the US. Now, he's a mock killer, testing the security around the highest officials to find vulnerabilities, before America's enemies can. But now someone's out to get him. Nick's latest assignment leads him to the home of a former CIA director. But when he breaches the director's study, Nick is entangled in a vicious crime. Reviews
[Hour of the Assassin] restores your faith in writers of breathless thrillers, if not politicians... The action is non-stop and the tradecraft - especially in the framing of the lone hero - is totally convincing' * Shots Magazine *
Quirk does a great line in exciting chase novels and Hour of the Assassin is no exception; a great premise, an intelligent background story and plenty of action... Well plotted, well written, entertaining * NB Magazine *

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
