Description

The publication focuses on Prince Johann Adam Andreas I of Liechtenstein (1657–1712). His skilful economic policies enabled him to increase his fortune. He purchased important artworks, invested in building projects and their artistic design, founded a city district and developed Italian art and architecture in Vienna in around 1700.

Prince Johann Adam Andreas I of Liechtenstein was an important individual for his dynasty and a great patron and builder. He reorganised administrative structures and invested in businesses and innovative production techniques. He thus created the financial basis for the expansion of the art collection and the construction and furnishing of imposing buildings. To this day, the Gartenpalais and Stadtpalais in Vienna bear witness to the activities of this prince who was a Hercules of the arts.

Artists Include: Bernardo Bellotto, Antonio Bellucci, Paris Bordone, Santino Bussi, Adam de Coster, Johann Adam Delsenbach, Gaspard Dughet, Anthonis van Dyck, Ignaz Elhafen, Joseph Emanuel Fischer von Erlach, Marcantonio Franceschini, Giovanni Giuliani, Johann Georg von Hamilton, Jan Davidsz. de Heem, Salomon Kleiner, Harmen Loeding, Carlo Maratti, Giuseppe Mazza, Filippo Parodi, Frans Pourbus der Ältere, Andrea Pozzo, Matthias Rauchmiller, Giulio Romano, Johann Michael Rottmayr, Anton Peter van Roy, Peter Paul Rubens, Andrea del Sarto, Frans Snyders, Massimiliano Soldani-Benzi, Giovanni Francesco Susini, Fanz Werner Tamm, Jacob Toorenvliet, Lucas van Uden, Dirk Valckenborch, Nicolaes van Veerendael, Philips Wouwerman

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
