About the Author

Daniele Caligiore is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Cognitive Science and Technology, National Research Council of Italy, where he works on Artificial Intelligence for the study of the brain. He is Director and co-founder of the 'Advanced School in AI', for the interdisciplinary study of AI, and among the founding partners of the ISTC-CNR spin-off company AI2Life, an innovative start-up dedicated to AI solutions to promote social development and people's well-being. He has published more than 80 scientific articles in international journals, conference proceedings and book chapters and is an evaluator for the Italian Ministry of University and Research and the European Commission of research project proposals in the field of AI and neuroscience.
