MARRY THE PRINCE. THEN KILL HIM.
Princess Madalina and her twin, Inessa, are born attached at the hand - the only time the sisters were ever united.
Madalina is gentle, finding peace amongst her magical flowers - flowers ideal for torture and torment, though not in her hands, for Madalina dreams of escape.
Inessa is ruthless - betrothed to a wealthy heir, she has been working to a secret mission: marry the prince, then kill him.
But when Inessa becomes trapped in ghostly purgatory, Madalina must take her twin's place as a bride with deadly orders.
In a rotten kingdom, everything is politics and poison. Can Madalina resist the infuriatingly clever prince and, for the sake of her family, put aside her heart?

About the Author
Autumn Krause is the critically acclaimed author of the YA novels A Dress for the Wicked (Harper), Before the Devil Knows You're Here (Peachtree Teen) and Grave Flowers (Walker Books). She's a gothic romantic at heart and loves spinning stories full of macabre magic. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where her morbid imagination ran rampant - so much so that her parents became concerned and told her stop writing stories where everyone dies at the end. At sixteen, she got her first job at a bridal dress store. She continued to work as a bridal gown stylist for many years, eventually getting hired at an upscale Beverly Hills salon, which inspired her debut, A Dress for the Wicked. Most often, she can be found in Orange County, California, wearing a black lace dress while spending time with her husband and three children. Other times, she can be found out with lanterns in the tradition of Emily Dickinson, searching for herself and stories.
