Ireland, Sixteenth Century. A time of strife, invasion and adventure ...

From Ireland's wild west coast, a true leader emerges - Granuaile, the pirate queen ... mother, lover, seafarer and chieftain.

A true story of bravery on the high seas, of battles, and of love, loss and leadership.

Follow the astounding and sometimes tragic tale of Ireland's own Queen of Storms brought to stunning life in this beautiful graphic novel.

About the Author
Dublin native Dave Hendrick's previous work includes The Symptoms (Zuda) and Short Sharp Schlocks. He is currently working on a number of projects including a Pearl Jam comic book anthology and other graphic novels. For more www.davehendrick.com A freelance cartoonist currently living and working in London, Luca Pizzari fell in love with the art of the Kubert brothers when he was nine and decided he wanted to make comic books for a living straight away. He's been drawing ever since. Loves Occult and Pulp themes, '60s-'70s sleazy B-series movies and too many superhero comic books. Hates talking about himself in third person.

teens and young adults are likely to find this both entertaining and informative. A great distraction for those rainy days anchored with nowhere to go!

if you are a boy or girl who likes adventure, bravery and comics, then Granuaile is the book for you

-- Connaught Tribune

this brilliant new graphic novel just blew me away ... it's savage, bloody and feisty just like Grainne herself and I have no doubt that kids and grown-ups will enjoy it equally

-- LisaReadsBooks

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
