Reviews
'This is classic Tom Wright. It is accessible to almost anyone asking questions, and yet it manages to be demanding for those who think they know the answers. It is superbly written, utterly Bible based, and leaves one satisfied at having learned and yet wanting to know more. I read it in a sitting with pleasure, provocation and profit. Do not hesitate!' * Archbishop Justin Welby *
Tom Wright is one of the great biblical commentators of our day. * Woman Alive *
Wright writes wonderfully, accessibly. . . as smooth as fine chocolate. * Ship of Fools *
His engaging writing style grips the reader from the opening pages. * Life and Work *
Again and again he manages to bring his colossal intelligence and immense scholarship together in an extraordinarily accessible manner. * Church Times *
We must thank God for a man of God who is a household name, has an international reputation as a Christian thinker, and yet has the common touch that so often hits the nail on the head . . . He helpfully sets the issue of the coronavirus into the context of the bigger picture of what God is doing in our world through the revelation of Jesus Christ [and] most helpfully he reminds us what it actually means for God to be in control. -- John Woods * Inspire Magazine *
