Description
Ginger has been at the heart of baking for centuries, bringing warmth, depth and a touch of fiery magic to cakes, biscuits, pastries, drinks, and preserves. This cookbook celebrates ginger in all its forms - powder, syrup, stem ginger, juice, paste and more - before exploring the spice blends it elevates, from mixed spice and gingerbread spice to lebkuchen, speculaas, and quatre epices.
With a collection of irresistible sweet recipes that showcase ginger's full potential, this book is both a guide and an inspiration for bakers who love the comforting, aromatic flavours of spice. From timeless traditions to creative twists, every page invites you to bake with ginger in new and delicious ways.
But this book is also part of a larger journey. Every recipe, every story, and every page is a step toward building something real: a bricks-and-mortar bakery.
By sharing the blends, the bakes, and the recipes that celebrate ginger's magic, this cookbook isn't just about baking - it's about laying the foundation for that dream. Brick by brick, recipe by recipe, page by page, this is how we get there.
