Description

This book is about you. It's about how you can shape your student experience based on what matters to you. It helps you to 'get sorted', take control and make the most of your time at college or university. This unique and practical self-coaching guide bridges the gap between student life, academic performance and employability skills. It actively encourages students to discover ways to shape their outlooks and experiences. - There are a host of useful illustrations, diagrams, checklists, exercises and real student stories to help you get the most from the book. - It's easy to find your way around the chapters so you can pick the bits that are most relevant for you. Regardless of your subject, level of study or reasons for doing a degree, Get Sorted will prove invaluable in helping you to navigate the challenges of your student journey, and beyond.

"Get Sorted was really relevant to my course (Business Entrepreneurship) as well as my future employment. It has sections that provide practical ways to deal with personal issues that affect all people, and overall has empowered me to make positive changes in my life." - Ellana Moseley, Student, Falmouth University, UK "It looks at university life as a multifaceted whole. The student experiences and language are genuine and engaging. The book acknowledges that different people will have very different goals and experiences at university so always offers plenty of examples and options." - Dr Michelle Reid, Study Adviser, University of Reading, UK "It has loads of great hints and tips on how to make university an experience that isn't overwhelming and tough but an experience that you are in control of and also that you enjoy to the full!" - Sorcha Hodgson, Medical Student, University of Liverpool, UK "I wish that I had had this book during my first term, as it does a great job at rationalising all of the worries/fears that uni could spring on you. This book is a must-have for all students, at whatever stage of uni-life, and I would recommend it to all of my friends." - Erin Whalley, Architecture Student, Edinburgh University, UK

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
