Description
This book follows and supplements the tried-and-tested progression of Get Set! Piano - My First Piano Book. It includes favourites like 'Ring-a-Ring-a-Roses', 'Peter Taps with One Hammer' and 'The Wheels on the Bus', as well as playful new pieces, featuring dinosaurs, superheroes, aliens, scooters and more!
Some pieces have straightforward teacher duet parts to encourage ensemble playing from the start, and there are lots of music theory puzzles and activities to consolidate learning and offer an extra layer of fun and exploration. The book is illustrated throughout in the charming Get Set! style, and students are encouraged to decorate and colour in the drawings to reflect their progress. Suitable for children aged 5+.

Reviews
'Two outstanding new publications are set to become my 'go-to' material for teaching five-year-olds, My First Piano Book and My First Piano Pieces, Puzzles and Activities by Karen Marshall. The approach is perfect for the age group and the author's intention to provide a gateway to music through the piano accords exactly with my own ethos. The pieces are tuneful so I know that little pianists will love them, and the emphasis is on developing musicianship holistically, encouraging children to explore the piano creatively and to sing as well as play. My First Piano Book is a work of art, with child-inspiring illustrations, and the accompanying activities book has line-drawings that children can colour in, bringing back memories of that simple childhood joy!' - Sandy Holland, music educator, pianist and examiner
