A coming-of-age story about friendship and love, loss and self-discovery, set in the vibrant metropolitan city of Kuala Lumpur. Maya Joseph, a Penang girl, dreams of becoming a writer. She is told she isn't suited to be one. Chong Mei Li, a stylish fashionista, dreams of creating a fashion empire. Her parents want her to take over the family furniture business and preserve their legacy. Rohan Das, a firstborn son, has managed to leave home but not the weight of his parents' expectations. He needs to work hard and secure a good job to support his middle-class family. As luck would have it, their paths cross at Maestro University, and soon enough this unlikely trio is inseparable. From pulling all-nighters to exploring KL, their university life seems to be near-perfect, until it is not.

Based in part on Vidhya's own university experience, Frappes for Three is a montage of the bittersweet university life, innocent first love, and internal struggles- all that we call 'growing up'.

About the Author
Vidhya Sathyamoorthy is a freelance content writer and blogger. She holds a degree in Business from Monash University Malaysia and a Masters in Economics from University of Malaya. She worked as a corporate trainer and subsequently as a lecturer before discovering her true passion-writing. Vidhya lives in Kuala Lumpur with her husband and their dog, Patchi. She enjoys writing stories and poems, going on long walks with her dog, and cafe hopping. Frappes for Three is her debut novel, based in part on her own university experience.
