About the Author
Robert Ackerson lives in the small upstate New York community of Schenevus. Formerly a public school teacher, he now writes full-time on a wide variety of automotive topics. His other books include marque histories on the Chrysler 300, Chrysler PT Cruiser, Ford F-150 (1997-2005), Jeep CJ, and Jeep Wrangler, as well as two racing histories of Mercedes cars: Return to Glory and Two Summers, all published by Veloce. Having owned several F-series pickups, he is very familiar both with their heritage and their versatility.
