About the AuthorShama Perera has worked in the corporate world in the city of London for over twenty years. She is a mum of three and this is her debut novel. Shama was inspired to write during lockdown, when most of the world was grounded. She wanted to transport readers to the other side of the world, to Sri Lanka, the country where her parents were born. Shama self-published a children's book in 2018 and has a number of other works in the pipeline.
