About the Author

Steve Cavanagh was born and raised in Belfast before leaving for Dublin at the age of eighteen to study Law. He practiced civil rights law and was involved in several high-profile cases; in 2010 he represented a factory worker who suffered racial abuse in the workplace and won the largest award of damages for race discrimination in Northern Ireland legal history. He holds a certificate in Advanced Advocacy and lectures on various legal subjects (but really he just likes to tell jokes). His novel The Liar won the 2018 CWA Gold Dagger award while his follow-up novel Thirteen won the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year Award in 2019. Twisted and Fifty Fifty were both Sunday Times Top 10 bestsellers. He is married with two young children.

A terrific writer. He has talent to burn. * Don Winslow *
Trust me - it will keep you guessing until the very end. * Ian Rankin *
Unpredictable, daring and completely compelling. Top notch writing. If you thought Thirteen was good - and it really was - this is somehow even better. * Alex North, author of The Whisper Man *
Very clever, darkly funny, moving, fast-paced, and Eddie Flynn is a terrific character. * Jane Casey *
Eddie's back! Steve Cavanagh writes the best hooks in the business. * Mick Herron *
A great read. * Martina Cole *
What a great read - an absolute page turner. * Shari Lapena *
Cavanagh/Flynn is the best legal tag-team since Connelly/Haller. * Craig Sisterson *
Brilliant - a characteristically twisty courtroom puzzle with some thrilling setpieces. * Mason Cross *
Absolutely brilliant. Addictive, clever, pacy. Eddie Flynn is one of my heroes. * Jo Spain *
Steve Cavanagh's writing is intelligent, sophisticated and tense, his plots executed with forensic attention to detail. I can't get enough of Eddie Flynn. * Mari Hannah *
Smart, pacy and keeping you guessing till the very end, this is an unputdownable high-concept thriller from the master of the genre. * Brian McGilloway *
It's a masterclass in misdirection and withholding information that will have you pitting your wits against with author, with courtroom scenes that are second to none: buckle up and read in one sitting * The Guardian *
A brilliant concept executed with all the sophistication and intrigue we have come to expect from this writer. * The Sun *
Cavanagh can generate tension better than almost anyone else * Literary Review *
Steve Cavanagh is currently reinvigorating the legal thriller * Financial Times *
Fifty Fifty is bucketloads of creepy fun * The Observer *
...not unworthy of the great John Grisham * The Times *
A new author to me - why, oh why haven't I read his work before? I wolfed this down * Prima *
As twisty as they come, you'll be switching sides till the end. * Crime Monthly *
Cavanagh is the kind of the high-concept twist and his latest has an absolute humdinger * The I Paper *
Fifty Fifty is hugely entertaining, there's plenty of drama, jeopardy and tension and Cavanagh directs his wry humour at some of the absurdities of the law. Fifty Fifty is a heady mix of brutal murder and judicial shenanigans - delicious and thrilling. Cavanagh has the reader in the palm of his hand. * NB Magazine *
...combines electric plotting with vivid evocations of the impact of emotionally abusive parenting and sexual harassment at work. As a Brit whose thrillers are set in America he's inevitably compared to Lee child, but Cavanagh's books combine whodunnits with courtroom contests, and are reminiscent of Agatha Christie in their penchant for audacious narrative trickery. * The Sunday Times *
Steve Cavanagh triumphs once again with his ability to twist perceptions and sympathies. * Woman & Home *

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
