Jose Bell Lara is Professor and Consultant of the University of Havana and researcher of the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO-Cuba). He has authored and co-authored numerous texts about Cuba and Latin America, including those in the series Documentos de la Revolucion Cubana 1959-1970: Cuba: la generacion revolucionaria 1952-1961; Cuba: las mujeres en la insurreccion 1952-1961; Combatientes; and Cuba: periodo especial.

Tania Caram Leon is a Professor at the University of Havana and researcher of the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO-Cuba).
