Reviews
Beautiful to handle with charming matte laminated covers, attractive typography, and music set out in the clearest way possible, these editions retain the composer's French directions and assist the player with a clearly set-out glossary of the registration terminology at the back of each book, along with an informative Editor's note at the back of each as well . . . If you don't know, or believe you couldn't play, either of the two Sorties, in B flat and E flat, then let me urge you to try. As you might expect, they are expertly written for the instrument, have some juicy harmonic changes at the climaxes, and the notes fit the fingers well - by no means the hardest organ music to be found! Above all they possess a totally irresistible joie de vivre, and make an instant impact on the listener. The congregation will queue in droves to ask you what it was and demand you play it again. * Keyboard Review *
