Reviews
"Flavin uses this research to argue for a better understanding of how both students and lecturers use technologies in practice, to practice technology enhanced learning more effectively. The book, part of the Digital Education and Learning Series, explores the pedagogical potential and realities of digital technologies in a refreshing and practical way, that also provides the strong evidence-base required for making decisions at an institution level." (Carmel Thomason,Innovative Practice in Higher Education, Vol. 3 (3), April, 2018)
"The book is a very insightful guide for students, researchers, practitioners and policy makers in computer-assisted learning, higher education, educational psychology and learning science. ... we'd like to highly recommendthis book which expands our understanding of the use and misuse of digital technologies in higher education. ... With a fund of fresh insights into DTEL, the book will attract a wide readership from novice practitioners to established scholars." (Xiqin Liu and Xiaowei Chen, Innovations in Education and Teaching International, December, 2017)
