Reviews
A selection of 12 quilt projects which are designed to teach you aspects of using diamond stars in your quilts. Starting with a sampler quilt, it introduces different types of diamond stars including piecing with strip sets, split diamonds and large pointed diamonds such as traditional Lone Stars.
The techniques are well described with diagrams and pictures. The first section takes you through cutting diamonds and strip pieced sets. Piecing instructions follow, with plenty of detailed images which highlight the quilting but only one project, the sampler quilt, has full instruction on how this was achieved. Full sized templates are included and the projects vary in size from 22" to 96" square.
If you would like to expand your knowledge of working with diamond star quilts this is a good choice.
