Description

"Could Never Be Me!" is raw, real, and ridiculously relatable—a laugh-out-loud, tear-just-might-drop kind of story for any kid who’s ever felt like the odd one out, the broken one, or just plain tired of pretending to be okay.

Meet Elias—a sharp-witted, painfully honest, and secretly soft Gen Z boy navigating schoolyard drama, fake friendships, and that weird ache in his chest that no football game or new pair of trainers can fix. His dad’s been gone so long, Elias wonders if he was ever really there. His mum's is, quite frankly, the G.O.A.T.

This pocket-sized powerhouse of a book is part story, part affirmation, and part healing hug disguised as pages. With a bold voice and brutal honesty, it peels back the layers of rejection, self-doubt, and comparison—but it does it with humour so slick, you’ll forget you’re healing.

Perfect for boys (and girls!) who are growing up with big questions, deeper feelings, and the silent kind of pain that doesn’t show up in X-rays. There’s a spiritual thread running through the pages—gentle, never pushy—that points toward something greater. Hope. Belonging. Identity.

Inside You’ll Find:
  •  through Elias’s eyes
  • : fatherlessness, fake friends, pressure, self-image
  •  that empower kids to say,
  •  to help kids believe healing is possible
  • A vibe that’s

This is a coming of age book - powerful for anyone navigating identity, healing, and the messy parts of growing up. Parents will love its uplifting heart. Kids will love that it doesn’t talk down to them. Teachers, mentors, and youth workers? This book’s a must-have on the shelf.

Great experience and I have zero concerns. They communicated through the shipping process and if there was any hiccups in it, they let me know. Books arrived in perfect condition as well as being fairly priced. 10/10 recommend. I will definitely shop here again!

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
