About the Author
James Kaiser's books have won multiple awards, including the National Outdoor Book Award, and his photography has appeared on the cover of National Geographic. His Costa Rica guidebook is based on over 15 years of visiting and living in Costa Rica. Born and raised in Maine, Kaiser wrote Acadia: The Complete Guide after graduating from Dartmouth College. The book became a surprise bestseller, and Kaiser went on to write guides to Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Zion, Joshua Tree, and Rocky Mountain National Park.
