Description

As companies are taking more autonomous control over their business and HR strategies, the time has come to examine recent developments in business organization in China. The author explores the growing strength of the private sector, the changes this has caused, and the global competition that industries are facing.

Schuler Testimonial for Professor Fang's latest book Competition, Strategy and Management in China, Palgrave Macmillan UK, 2007. "Professor Fang Lee Cooke has demonstrated once again the breath and depth of her knowledge about the business environment of China, as well as her ability to write in an engaging manner. In this book she has provided particularly interesting insights into competition, strategy and management in China, both by Chinese firms and non-Chinese firms. Her in-depth analysis of four major industries is an especially valuable contribution for all readers. In the third part of this book Professor Fang offers many insights into FDI flows, both into and out of China. This book is filled with an abundance of highly relevant tables and figures, and is extremely well-documented. I highly recommend this book to everyone interested in learning as much about China as possible. Filled with insight and extremely well documented. The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
