He has won numerous awards for his designs, research, and achievements as an educator, and several progressive architecture design awards. He is one of the founders of the Environmental Design Research Association (EDRA) and the recipient of a Distinguished Fulbright award to Korea. Mr. Sanoff has directed projects throughout the United States and has served as a consultant all over the world.
