December 1952

As a young Queen Elizabeth II prepares to deliver her first Christmas speech, staff work behind the scenes to get ready for the festivities at Sandringham Estate. Among them are Jack and Olive - old friends who are surprised to be reunited after seven years apart.

While Olive works for the BBC reporting on the royal family, and Jack is employed in the queen's kitchens, their bond deepens - until a secret threatens to tear them apart. When the truth comes to light, it could change Olive and Jack's lives forever.

But maybe Christmas has one last gift to deliver...

'This sweet and thoughtful book had me hooked from the first page, following along not only for glimpses of Her Majesty and the royal retinue, but for Olive and Jack's irresistible second-chance romance. A triumph and a treat of a novel!'- Bryn Turnbull, author of The Woman Before Wallis

'A must read for anyone in need of Christmas magic' Georgie Blalock

'Christmas with the Queen is, in a word, delicious ... it balances deftly observed historical details, an engaging plot, and delightful characters (HM the late Queen among them) who become familiar and dear to the reader after only a few pages. This is a story to savor over a cup of tea as the days grow short and the year draws to a close, and I adored every bit of it' Jennifer Robson

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
