Dot May Dunn grew up in Derbyshire, the daughter of a miner, during the wartime years. In 1951 she joined the NHS as an early recruit and went on to train as a nurse.

About the Author
Dot May Dunn is the SUNDAY TIMES bestselling author of TWELVE BABIES ON A BIKE and BREAD, JAM AND A BORROWED PRAM. She was born in Derbyshire and has four nursing qualifications and 50 years on the 'coal face' behind her. She lives in Warwickshire and divides her time between England and France.
