With an introduction by master chip carver Barry McKenzie, you will really appreciate the 50 all-time favorite projects featured in this excellent book. For the beginner, the opening pages show you some of the basic cuts and cutting methods. An explanation of how the chips are cut. The book is full of great holiday ideas from icicle tree ornaments to delicate snowflakes. Carved eggs, quilt pattern coasters, inspirational crosses and even a decorative teapot and spoon clock. They are all here with plans and/or patterns.
Chip carving can be used to great decorative effect and is a side to woodcarving which many enjoy. The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.

Found a hard to get book…
