About the Author
Nigel Freestone has spent his working life in higher education and is passionate about all aspects of chemistry. Head of Environmental & Geographical Sciences at the University of Northampton, UK, for nearly 20 years, he has taught basic chemistry to thousands of students undertaking a broad range of science-based degree level programmes. Nigel has written several chemistry books as well as several hundred current awareness and historical features for chemistry-based magazines and journals.
