Description

Discover the global virus thriller you HAVE to read . . .

'Chain of Events has a conceit at its heart that is so simple and clever I wish I'd thought of it. Fast and relentless, all shot through with a little bloody pandemic and code cracking . . . boy are you ever going to love this book' ---
Simon Toyne

DAY ONE: KIDNAP
'We've been looking for you,' they tell William Sandberg when they abduct him. Imprisoned at a secret location, this broken genius can only win his freedom by completing an impossible task.

DAY TWO: OUTBREAK
Out on the streets, people begin to die horrible, gruesome deaths. Every moment that William fails to complete his task, more will perish.

DAY THREE: CHAOS
The search is on to rescue William as catastrophe after catastrophe kills thousands. But soon William realises the answer to the puzzle might be the most terrifying secret of all.

'Secrets are unveiled with a masterful sense of pace . . . Olsson has the page-turning power of Michael Crichton'
The Sun

'A colourful blockbuster thriller couched in distinctly cinematic terms'
The Independent

About the Author
Born in 1969 outside Goeteborg on the Swedish west coast, Fredrik T. Olsson spent most of his childhood writing, acting and producing plays. Refusing to grow up, this is pretty much what he has kept doing since. A full-time screenwriter for film and television since 1995, Fredrik has written scripts in genres ranging from comedy to thrillers, as well as developing, showrunning and head-writing original material for various Swedish networks. He is also a standup comedian and makes occasional contributions as a director.

'Chain of Events' has a conceit at its heart that is so simple and clever I wish I'd thought of it. If you like your clocks ticking and your end of the world nighing and your pace fast and relentless, all shot through with a little bloody pandemic and code cracking, then boy are you ever going to love this book. I did. * Simon Toyne *
Thrilling action sequences... compulsive reading * Lincolnshire Echo *
I loved it absolutely and with passion - I wish I could start all over again now with no knowledge, yet another reminder for me of why I read * Liz Loves Books *
The tension never lets up as the stakes get higher and higher in this fast-paced thriller. Chain of Events is an exciting and entertaining read and an impressive debut novel for Swedish screenwriter Fredrik T Olsson * Izzy Reads *
Each page is action-packed, filled with enough detail and thrill to wind you up so much the anticipation could set you off like a top . . . I loved this book. * naturalbri-pursuitsoflife.blogspot.co.uk *
Olsson's debut, a world-in-peril thriller, gets high marks for developing an original concept and building suspense * Publishers Weekly *
Exhilerating. Utterly exhausting. Totally addictive. Unbelievably clever and if you want your thrillers to be, well you know, actually thrilling, you have come to the right place. * Liz Loves Books *
Swedish scriptwriter Olsson's first novel amps up the action via a doomsday scenario set in Europe . . . Olsson lines up a sympathetic and well-developed cast of characters, inserts them into some interesting places, and allows very few dull moments, especially once the action really gets rolling. An end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it thriller featuring two unlikely, but very likable, protagonists. * Kirkus *
Don't wait for the film, read it now - before it's too late! (5 stars) * Weekend Sport *

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
