Description

Fergus can't believe it when his brand-new digital watch starts going backwards. Then he crashes (literally) into gadget-loving Murdo and a second mystery comes to light: cats are going missing all over the neighbourhood.

This book was the winner of the Kelpies Prize. Sharply and wittily observed, it's a story of unlikely friendships, unexpected allies and cat surveillance.

About the Author
Mike Nicholson was the winner of the Kelpies Prize 2005 for new Scottish writing for children. A member of local writing group Broadside, he based Catscape, his first book, in his home neighbourhood of Comely Bank, Edinburgh. He has since published another novel for children, Grimm, and a Scottish picture book, Thistle Street.

-- Annie, age 8, Peebleshire, Scotland

The shipping was just superior

The shipping was just superior; not even one of the books was in contact with the shipping box -anywhere-, not even a corner or the bottom, so all the books arrived in perfect condition. The international shipping took around 2 weeks, so pretty great too.
