About the Author
David Capuzzi, PhD, NCC, LPC, is a faculty emeritus of Walden and professor emeritus of Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. He is past president of the American Counseling Association (ACA), of which he is a fellow. He is the 2019 recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision. A prolific author and journal editor, he is also a frequent speaker and keynoter at professional conferences and institutes as well as a consultant for a variety of school districts and community agencies.
